JF&Sons have performed general maintenance on my AC/heater system for 7 or 8 years. This year the aging furnace needed repair. The technician examined the furnace, found the problem, tried to fix it but determined a new part was needed and gave an estimate for repair. The parts needed for repair were in stock and Lucas added me to his schedule for the next day to fix the heater. Timeline: called JF&Sons needing service, got app't for the next day, repair scheduled and made the following day. Can't beat that!”

“I was disappointed by the company’s approach to providing estimates. When I called, I was told that estimates couldn’t be given over the phone. However, once the technician arrived, I was informed that this particular job has a fixed price regardless of how long it would take. That inconsistency feels misleading.
I paid a $95 service fee for a visit that simply confirmed I had a leak — something I already knew. The quote I received was $1,000 for a garbage disposal replacement. My wife and I ended up completing the job ourselves in about an hour, using the premium 3/4 HP model we purchased for $260.
I understand companies need to cover their costs, but I expected more transparency in the estimating process.”
