The Delaware Foundation Reaching Citizens with intellectual disabilities (DFRC) is a respected nonprofit established in 1956, dedicated to enriching the lives of Delaware residents with intellectual disabilities. DFRC raises funds to support programs that motivate individuals with intellectual disABILITIES to maximize their potential, foster independence, and improve enjoyment of life.

Over the years, DFRC has raised over $6.3 million through signature fundraising events—like the DFRC Blue-Gold AllStar Football Game—and contributed to Delaware programs that benefit individuals with intellectual disABILITIES. With an emphasis on community involvement, education, and awareness, DFRC aims to help society gain a better understanding of individuals with disABILITIES, highlighting valuable lessons about diversity and acceptance.

Leukemia Lymphoma Society - Visionary of the Year Campaign

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Visionaries of the Year (formerly known as the Man & Woman of the Year) is a fundraising campaign designed to support blood cancer research. Candidates form fundraising teams compete in honor of two local blood cancer survivors, and the individual who raises the most funds is awarded the title of “Visionary of the Year.” This campaign underscores the commitment to funding blood cancer research and supporting patients through a collaborative and competitive spirit.

Pilot School

The Pilot School is dedicated to nurturing the abilities of children who learn differently by providing them with the appropriate tools, guidance, and structure to help them excel. With a unique 5:1 student-to-teacher ratio, the school provides tailored education for children ages 5-14. The Pilot School specializes in serving children with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, ADHD, auditory processing disorder, and more. Emphasizing individualized learning strategies, the school fosters curiosity, motivation, and resourcefulness in its students. The Pilot School's approach is designed to support and challenge each child, helping them become independent thinkers and confident learners.

Serviam Girls Academy

Founded in 2008, Serviam Girls Academy is a middle school for girls in grades 5 through 8, and it is one of over 50 NativityMiguel schools across the United States and Canada dedicated to providing a quality, faith-based education to low-income students in order to prepare them for admittance into competitive high schools and college. The academy is rooted in the Ursuline tradition and its core values, which include respect, development of the whole person, discipleship and service, community, and empowerment.
