It can remove and clean the bacteria and ultimately improve the indoor air quality, airflow and efficiency of your entire system. That means you can breathe easier and save energy.

UV-C lights may reduce or eliminate bacteria in your A/C system. They may reduce or eliminate mold growing in your ducts. The reduction of their growth results in cleaner air for you and your family to breathe, which lessens your risk to the hazards of mold exposure.

On the flip side, UV-C lights are powerful and can, over time, deteriorate plastics such as some wiring insulation and other components of the air handler or ducting system.
